All financial contributions to veteran organizations are confirmed and validated by the Better Business Bureau. The Better Business Bureau recognized Trident as a 2021 BBB Torch Awards Finalist for maintaining a high standard of ethics within our company, with our customers, and within the community.
Immediate Ways to Help
Texas Veterans Commission Veterans Mental Health Department
The Veterans Mental Health Department (VMHD) is focused on ensuring access to competent mental health services for service members, veterans, and their families. VMHD accomplishes this task by providing training, certification, and technical assistance across Texas.

Over 2,000 veterans die by suicide every year–that’s 22 each day. Veterans also comprise 18% of all suicides in the United States. As a member of the community, friend or family of a veteran, an educator of children, or passionate patriot, we need you to change the statistic and help stop one suicide.
The Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN)
Whether it is helping frightened spouses and children during times of deployment or assisting veterans with reintegration into civilian life, services to individuals in the military community must be provided through an empathetic lens. Direct Peer Services, as provided by Metrocare’s MVPN Program, have proven effective in assisting members of the SMVF community (service members, veterans, and their families) by offering one-to-one peer support, referrals for mental health and wellness, mentoring and support during Veteran Treatment Court, and the provision of peer support groups in a welcoming and understanding environment.
DoD Skillbridge
The DoD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects Service members with industry partners in real-world
job experiences. Trident has been invited to be part of those companies that can offer transitioning soldiers an opportunity to learn and gain practical hands-on experience in the world of IT.

Organizations We Support
Hope for the Warriors
Hope for the Warriors believes those touched by military service can succeed at home by restoring their sense of self, family, and hope. Nationally, Hope for the Warriors provides comprehensive support programs for service members, veterans, and military families that are focused on transition, health and wellness, peer engagement, and connections to community resources.
Elite Meet
Elite Meet focus on finding opportunities for officers or those with unique military skills, i.e., Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, Green Berets, Marine Raiders, etc. who are transitioning to the civilian world. Trident’s sponsorship allowed for candidates to meet with Fortune 500 companies and discuss job opportunities.
Freedom Mobility Foundation
Freedom Mobility Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created to restore mobility for Active Military Service Members, Veterans, First Responders and people with disabilities so that they can feely live their live to the maximum extent that technology allows. The founders at Trident are aware of the dangers within the military as both Dale and Dolores Whited served in the Airborne; the rigors of which left permanent injuries to both. Everyone can appreciate what mobility and a sense of
normalcy can mean for these soldiers.
Veterans in Business
The VIB Network is on a mission to provide education, training, resources, and outreach to help Veterans in business succeed. The VIB Network is a nonprofit 501(c)3. There is both a national organization through which we participated in their Annual Conference in San Diego in 2019, as well as local organization that meets monthly. We attend whenever possible, and on one occasion presented “How to become Certified as a SDVOSB through the VA”.
Combined Arms
Combined Arms streamlines the connection between veterans and their families from all branches of the military with organizations that serve them. They’ve created a new veteran service model, focusing on collective impact – reinventing what it means to serve veterans by creating pathways for them to access resources based on exactly what they’ve asked for, leaving the outdated model of “services in a silos” behind.” This organization started in Houston and is just beginning to make its way to North Texas. We’ve been invited to be part of the grass roots organization to get the word out to the veterans and transitioning soldiers.
Infrastructure Masons
iMasons works with IT companies around the world recruiting, training and offering careers to transitioning soldiers and their spouses. Located near Ft Hood, Trident has been asked to work with their transition team and offer guidance into the digital infrastructure world.
Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA)
Since its founding in 2004, IAVA has remained the preeminent organization fighting, and winning, the most important battles in America on behalf of post-9/11 veterans and their families.
IAVA’s mission is to unite, empower, and connect post-9/11 veterans through education, advocacy, and community. IAVA’s programs include non-partisan advocacy on Capitol Hill, research on post-9/11 veteran issues, veterans transition assistance, and community building.
IAVA is a community of more than 425,000 veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as veteran families and civilian allies. IAVA membership is free.
The National Medal of Honor Museum
The stories of Medal of Honor recipients, demonstrating bravery in combat at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty, serve as a beacon to all Americans. These legacies, such as those below, deserve a permanent home on the national landscape. The National Medal of Honor Museum will be their home. Trident is part of large veteran network that is helping spread the word of museum and raising funds.

The Veterans Crisis Line is a free, confidential resource that’s available to anyone, even if you’re not registered with VA or enrolled in VA health care. The caring, qualified responders at the Veterans Crisis Line are specially trained and experienced in helping Veterans of all ages and circumstances.

Vet Center: Life isn’t always easy after a deployment. That’s where Vet Centers can help. Vet Centers across the country provide a broad range of counseling, outreach, and referral services to combat Veterans and their families. Vet Centers guide Veterans and their families through many of the major adjustments in lifestyle that often occur after a Veteran returns from combat. Services for a Veteran may include individual and group counseling in areas such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), alcohol and drug assessment, and suicide prevention referrals. Homes for Vets: Veterans Should Not Be Without a Place to Call Home
VA is committed to ending homelessness among Veterans. Our focus is threefold:
- Conducting coordinated outreach to proactively seek out Veterans in need of assistance.
- Connecting homeless and at-risk Veterans with housing solutions, health care, community employment services and other required supports.
